Noticeable phone movement or picking it up breaks the focus rule.
Stay in the app
Leaving the app, sending it to the background, or quitting the session early counts as a violation.
Keep alerts audible
If the volume is too low, alerts can be missed, and the app tracks that as a rule.

Breaking a rule creates focus debt.
Each violation adds +5 minutes of focus debt. Before you start a new room, you can pay it back by focusing alone in the Penalty Room or reduce it with coins.
