These Terms govern your use of Proof of Focus. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Contact: support@proofoffocus.app.
Use of the app
Proof of Focus provides focus timers, private rooms, progress tracking, and optional Pro access. You are responsible for your account activity and for using rooms respectfully. Do not misuse invite codes, harass other users, upload unlawful content, attempt to access another account, or interfere with the service.
Accounts
The app may support anonymous guest access and Apple or Google sign-in. Guest progress can be lost if the device or app data is removed. Link an account if you want stronger account recovery.
Subscriptions and purchases
Proof of Focus Pro may be offered as weekly or monthly plans where available. Pricing and renewal terms are shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase sheet before purchase. Renewing plans continue unless canceled through the store account before renewal. Refunds are handled by the store where the purchase was made.
Focus rules and penalties
The app uses device and session signals to apply focus rules and room-visible events. These features are motivational tools only. They are not guarantees of productivity, academic performance, health outcomes, or employment outcomes.
Content and conduct
You keep responsibility for profile names, avatars, room behavior, and support messages you submit. We may restrict accounts or remove content when needed to protect users, comply with law, or maintain service integrity.
Availability
The service depends on networks, app stores, service providers, and device permissions. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Proof of Focus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost progress, or lost profits.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using the app at any time and request account deletion at /delete-account/. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the service.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
