Delete your Proof of Focus account
You can request deletion of your Proof of Focus account and associated app data by emailing support@proofoffocus.app. This page is public so it can be used from the app stores and from inside the app.
Deletion steps
Email support with the subject “Proof of Focus Account Deletion Request”. Include the email linked to your Apple or Google sign-in, or your in-app user ID if you can access it.
We may ask for limited information to verify control of the account before deleting data. This protects accounts from unauthorized deletion.
Verified deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Some records may remain temporarily in backups or logs until normal retention cycles expire.
Data deleted
- Your app account record where technically available.
- Profile data, display name, avatar references, and uploaded avatar image.
- Progress data such as daily stats and session history.
- Friend relationships, friend requests, notifications, and room invite records tied to the account.
Data that may be retained
- Store purchase and refund records controlled by Apple, Google, or payment processors.
- Security, abuse-prevention, tax, accounting, or legal records where retention is required.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify you.
Deleting the account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play purchase. Cancel active plans through the store account that purchased them.
